Residence Le Nevada

The 4 Star La Ferme du Val Claret has bagged itself a cracking spot in Tignes Val Claret. You’re in a quieter part of the village, but still close to the shops, bars, restaurants and ski school. More importantly, the chairlift is directly opposite, because nobody came skiing to spend half the morning carrying skis around town.

It’s a great shout for families and groups who want plenty of space and easy access to the Tignes Val d’Isère ski area. Once you’re suited, booted and vaguely awake, you can be on the mountain in no time.

Back at the residence, there’s a welcoming lounge with an open fire for warming up after a day on the slopes with a pool table if you want to have some fun competiton with friends and family. If your legs are filing an official complaint, you can also head to the Spa Ô des Cimes at the nearby Le Nevada residence. There’s a whirlpool and saunas, plus massages and treatments available if you fancy giving the ski legs a bit of TLC.

The apartments are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Each comes with a living area and sofa bed for two, TV and a balcony for a blast of that very fresh Alpine air. You’ll also have a well-equipped kitchen with a ceramic hob, oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, mixer, steamer and toaster. Basically, everything you need for an easy night in when ski boots have been replaced by slippers.

And because mornings are hard enough without a bread run, there’s a bakery service available locally for an extra charge. Order your bread and pastries, have breakfast in the apartment and then get yourself out the door and onto the slopes. Less faffing about. More skiing. We’re very much on board with that.
