Zell am See ski resort is located next to Lake Zell in Austria and is part of the Europa Sport ski area. Ski holidays in Zell am See mean the perfect combination of a traditional tyrolean style village and access to fantastic glacier skiing.
When boarding or skiing in Zell am See you will have access to the slopes surrounding Zell as well as neighbouring Kaprun and Schüttdorf. The combination and variety of blue, red and black pistes in the Europa Sport ski area mean everyone will be taken care of. There are some nice easy, broad slopes to start off on in Zell with some more difficult runs to advance to. For intermediate skiers or boarders ski deals to Zell am See means plenty of red slopes to improve your abilities on and some great, steep black descents that will challenge the better intermediate skiers and boarders, as well as the more advanced. Zell also offers some great off-piste skiing while for boarders there is a fun-park at the Schmittenhöhe that contains plenty of jumps, ramps and bumps to test your skills on.
Similar to other ski resorts in Austria like Mayrhofen Valley and Saalbach, Zell am See offers some brilliant and lively nightlife. There is a mix of restaurants, cafés, pubs and discos for the more energetic out there or some quieter spots if you just want somewhere to unwind after a hectic day on the slopes. Zell is also very family orientated with some great daycare and children's clubs in resort where fun is the name of the game.
For some alternatives to the après ski scene why not try bowling, tobogganing, swimming, sleigh rides, ice-skating, hang-gliding, paragliding, or hot air ballooning? Also worth looking into locally would be a day trip to the nearby thermal springs in the Gastein Valley.

For children who are not yet ready for skiing (aged 2 years and over) we will take care of the kids while you enjoy skiing or snowboarding! For your convenience we are open Sunday to Thursday from 09.30 to 15.30
In the Mini Club your little ones are slowly guided towards skiing by qualified ski instructors and children?s supervisors. The first basics are negotiated with a lot of dedication. The supervision and learning through playing are foremost here. There is a small race every Thursday at the end of the course and every child receives a medal and certificate afterwards. Mini Club - 10 - 12am or 1:30 - 3:30pm and children age 3-4 years old
