Tignes Val Claret is one of the highest and most popular villages in the Tignes resort, sitting at approximately 2,100 metres. Its high-altitude location provides excellent access to the Tignes–Val d’Isère ski area and makes it a fantastic choice for skiers and snowboarders looking for reliable snow conditions throughout the winter season.

The surrounding ski area offers around 300km of pistes, with an impressive variety of terrain for all abilities. Beginners can practise on gentler slopes close to the village, while intermediate skiers have an extensive network of blue and red runs to explore. Advanced skiers and snowboarders are also well catered for, with challenging pistes, high-altitude terrain and exciting off-piste opportunities.

Val Claret is particularly convenient for accessing the higher slopes of Tignes, making it an excellent base for those who want to spend as much time as possible on the mountain. The village also offers a lively atmosphere away from the slopes, with a good selection of restaurants, bars, shops and après-ski venues.

Combining high-altitude skiing, convenient slope access and a vibrant resort atmosphere, Tignes Val Claret is an excellent destination for groups, couples and families. Whether you are visiting for the extensive skiing, dependable snow or lively après-ski scene, Val Claret provides a superb base for a ski holiday in the French Alps.
