Ski Holidays in The Dolomites

  • The Dolomites are home to some of the most spectacular skiing in Italy, with dramatic UNESCO-listed peaks, traditional mountain towns and hundreds of kilometres of beautifully prepared pistes. Our Dolomites ski holidays cover two distinct areas: Val Gardena and Val di Fassa in the Eastern Dolomites, and the Brenta Dolomites further west.

Val Gardena and Val di Fassa sit at the heart of Dolomiti Superski, which covers around 1,200km of pistes across 12 ski areas. Several of our resorts offer easy access to the Sellaronda, the famous ski circuit around the Sella massif. Over in the Brenta Dolomites, you'll find a separate ski area centred around Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo.

    Val Gardena

Val Gardena combines fantastic skiing with a distinctive South Tyrolean character and some seriously impressive Dolomite scenery. It's particularly good for intermediate skiers, while connections to the Sellaronda open up miles of skiing across the surrounding valleys.

    Selva di Val Gardena

At 1,563m, Selva is a lively, high-altitude resort with direct access to the Sellaronda. With extensive skiing and a good choice of après-ski bars, it's a great base for keen skiers, couples and groups.

    Ortisei

At 1,236m, Ortisei is a beautiful traditional town with an attractive pedestrian centre, restaurants, cafés and shops. Access to Seceda and family-friendly Alpe di Siusi makes it a great option for families, couples and mixed-ability groups.

    Val di Fassa

Val di Fassa has a more typically Italian mountain-resort atmosphere, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Eastern Dolomites. You'll find everything from easy Sellaronda access to quieter local ski areas, so there's a good choice of resorts for different styles of ski holiday.

    Canazei

At 1,465m, Canazei is one of Val di Fassa's liveliest resorts, with easy access to the Sellaronda and plenty of bars and restaurants. It's a great choice for intermediates, couples and anyone who enjoys a bit of après-ski.

    Campitello di Fassa

At 1,448m, Campitello gives you quick access to the Sellaronda via the Col Rodella cable car, but it's quieter than neighbouring Canazei. A great base for keen skiers and couples who prefer more relaxed evenings.

    Pozza di Fassa

At around 1,320m, Pozza is a traditional, relaxed resort with convenient local skiing. It's a good base for families and couples who prefer quieter evenings and aren't focused on direct Sellaronda access.

    Vigo di Fassa

At around 1,380m, Vigo di Fassa is ideal for beginners and families, with access to the scenic Catinaccio ski area. Wide, gentle slopes, good snow and beautiful Dolomite views make it a relaxed place to learn, while being away from the Sellaronda means quieter pistes.

    Brenta Dolomites

The Brenta Dolomites offer something a little different from Val Gardena and Val di Fassa. This western area has its own extensive ski network and doesn't connect to the Sellaronda or Dolomiti Superski. Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo form part of the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area, with around 150km of pistes and skiing reaching approximately 2,500m.

    Madonna di Campiglio

At 1,550m, Madonna di Campiglio combines extensive skiing with one of Italy's most stylish mountain towns. There's a good choice of restaurants, shops and après-ski, making it a great all-rounder for couples, groups and intermediate skiers.

    Pinzolo

At around 800m, Pinzolo has a quieter, more traditional Italian feel while still being linked to the wider Campiglio ski area. It's a great option for families and couples who want plenty of skiing but prefer a more relaxed resort atmosphere.
