Les Campanules is a cosy 4 star hotel right in the centre of Tignes Le Lac, just a one minute walk from the slopes. There’s a sauna, heated outdoor pool and comfy rooms with some cracking mountain views. Basically, ski all day, soak afterwards and repeat. Not a bad routine.
You couldn’t ask for a much handier spot. Les Campanules is right in the centre of Tignes Le Lac and just a one minute walk from the slopes. Shops, bars and everything else you might need are close by too. Handy when walking any further than necessary in ski boots starts to feel like an extreme sport in itself.
Inside, it’s classic Alpine territory, with plenty of natural wood and traditional Savoyard touches throughout. The bedrooms are warm and comfortable, with lovely views across the lake and surrounding mountains. A very decent backdrop for checking the weather and convincing yourself those clouds are definitely going to clear.
When you’re finished skiing for the day, the spa is calling. Have a dip in the heated outdoor pool or give the legs a well earned stint in the sauna. There’s a fitness room too, for those rare individuals who look at a full day of skiing and think, “I could do with a workout.” Later, grab some local food in the restaurant or get yourself beside the open fire in the lounge bar with a drink. There’s also a ski shop, ski lockers, heated boot racks and free WiFi, so all the practical stuff is nicely sorted too.
