Hotel Levanna is about as handy for the slopes as it gets. Step outside and you’re skiing, which means no buses, no long walks in ski boots and no excuses for missing first lifts. Back at the hotel, there’s a sauna, hot tub and sunny terrace with cracking views towards the Grande Motte glacier. That’ll do nicely.
Hotel Levanna sits right in the heart of Tignes Le Lac, with the slopes quite literally outside the door. Clip in and off you go. You’re also close to the resort’s shops, bars and amenities, so popping out for a few après drinks doesn’t require military-level planning.
Inside, the hotel mixes classic Alpine style with a smart, modern finish. There’s plenty of wood and stone, comfortable bedrooms and a cosy feel throughout. Basically, exactly what you want to come back to when you’ve spent the day throwing yourself around the mountain.
Once the skis are off, the sauna and hot tub are waiting to give tired legs a fighting chance at doing it all again tomorrow. Grab a drink and head for the terrace, where you’ll get brilliant views towards the Grande Motte glacier. Later, there’s local food in the hotel restaurant or the lounge bar for a drink and the traditional retelling of that run you absolutely nailed. According to you, anyway.
