Right in the thick of it in Tignes Le Lac, Hotel L’Aiguille Percée puts you close to the slopes, the lifts and all the important après bits. Add an indoor pool, sauna and cosy Alpine interiors and you’ve got a cracking base for a week on the mountain. Ski hard, sauna harder.
You’re right in the heart of Tignes Le Lac, with the ski lifts around a five minute walk away and shops, bars and resort essentials all close by. Less time clomping around in ski boots, more time actually skiing. We’re big fans of that.
Inside, it’s properly cosy without going overboard on the Alpine drama. Think plenty of natural wood, comfortable bedrooms and mountain views from many of the rooms. Not a bad sight to wake up to, even if your legs are still reminding you about yesterday’s last run.
After skiing, ditch the boots and make a beeline for the wellness area. There’s an indoor pool for a dip, a sauna for warming yourself back up and a relaxation area where tired legs can finally clock off. The hotel also has a dedicated ski room for stashing your gear. For anyone who somehow still has energy left, there’s a games room and pool table ready for the highly competitive business of deciding who’s buying the next round.
