For a quieter base in Les Menuires without being miles from the action, Residence Les Clarines is a cracking spot. You’re just a couple of minutes from the slopes and when the ski boots come off, there’s a heated pool, spa and cosy fireside lounge waiting for you. Not bad at all.
Sitting at 1,850 metres in altitude, Les Clarines is in a quieter part of the resort, but you’re still well placed for the slopes. The pistes are around a 2 minute walk away, with ski lifts roughly 50–100 metres from the residence and ski school about a 10 minute walk. The resort centre is around 700 metres away, either on foot or by free shuttle bus. Handy for dinner or a few après-ski drinks without adding another workout to the day.
Inside, it’s properly alpine with plenty of wood panelling and mountain views. There’s a cosy lounge with an open log fire, plus a heated indoor pool, separate baby pool and wellness centre with a sauna, steam room, fitness room and spa treatments. You’ve also got a games room, ski lockers with boot warmers, free WIFI and laundry facilities, with restaurants and bars a short walk away. And warm ski boots in the morning? That might be the greatest luxury of them all.

***Please Note: Reservations are necessary 3 weeks in advance (Nursery has limited places). For children under 20 months, a medical certificate is required stating that the child can be looked after in a nursery environment (with other children) and at an altitude of over 1800 metres, with your child's health booklet.
Group Lessons
Group course for
4 to 6 years. Your children can learn how to ski in our enclosed garden at the Piou-Piou Club. Our teaching material is adapted for childrens use (mini drag lift, conveyor belt).
This is run Sunday to Friday. 2 hours 45 minutes in the morning and 2hours 30 minutes in the afternoon.
