Known as one of the most unusual hotels in the world, the Hotel Mølla is a beautiful restored and redeveloped mill dating back to 1863 and opened as a hotel in 1992. The 58 bedrooms located in the 30m high grain silo are tastefully decorated and furnished with rustic pines and wrought iron in keeping with the style of the Mill. The hotel bar is a huge attraction situated on the 9th floor, this roof top bar enjoys breath-taking views over the whole city of Lillehammer. The 140-year old mill also houses the hotel's restaurant, an informal meeting place for the entire district. The childrens ski school is aimed at children aged 4 to 6 years. It offers them the opportunity to ski for 90 minutes per day and a minmum number of 3 days need to be booked.
