Livigno ski resort is located high in the Italian Alps and close to the border with Switzerland. Skiing in Livigno is best suited for beginners and intermediates with plenty of long, wide-open slopes on which to hone your skills. The resort offers excellent tuition for first timers and some nice easy nursery slopes to start off on. Intermediates can take advantage of the more challenging slopes while advances skiers and boarders will find harder runs to tackle as well as plenty of off-piste to test themselves on.
Livigno holidays offer good value when it comes to food, drink and ski accommodation which is all at a great low cost thanks to the resort’s duty-free status. For those looking to try something other than skiing and boarding it is possible to try out ski-doo’s, quad biking, go-carting, husky rides, paragliding and much more. There is plenty of fun to be had on a skiing holiday in Livigno!
The Ali Baba Kindergarten is aimed at children aged 3 years and over. It is open Sunday to Friday from 08.30 to 15.30. Located beside lift 23.

There is an indoor creche area at the top of the gondola on Mottolino ski area open 10am-4pm. Here 3-7 yr olds are cared for in a well-equipped indoor play area, supervised by 1-2 nannies. Under 3yr olds are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. This service is free of charge and does not need to be pre-booked.
