This family-run hotel is centrally located in Zell am See, just 150 metres from the ski lifts, a location which is hard to beat in what is one of Austria's bigger ski resorts. The Schmittenhohe, Zell am See’s local mountain offers well groomed ski slopes and caters for all levels of skiing ability.
Guests are welcome to relax in the wellness centre at the end of a long day on the slopes and enjoy the sauna, infrared cabin and a small swimming pool.
In the evenings, guests can enjoy a delicious 4 course evening meal (from Winter 2022/2023 dinner will provided 6 days a week. Restaurant will be closed on Sunday). The restaurant at the Hotel zum Hirschen is award winning and is loved by the locals as much as it is by the hotel’s guests. After dinner, you can relax with a glass of wine from the hotel’s well stocked bar.

Mini Club
In the Mini Club your little ones are slowly guided towards skiing by qualified ski instructors and children?s supervisors. The first basics are negotiated with a lot of dedication. The supervision and learning through playing are foremost here. There is a small race every Thursday at the end of the course and every child receives a medal and certificate afterwards. Mini Club - 10 - 12am or 1:30 - 3:30pm and children age 3-4 years old
