The Aktivhotel Crystal is a great choice for its location but, as it is a family-run hotel, you’ll also find a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere here too. Located in a pretty quiet area, the hotel is still quite central and you’ll find the cable car station, at the foot of the Kitzbühel Horn, is right outside. And if you are attending ski school, that’s right next door too.
The building itself is a lovely, homely Tyrolean style. It’s just the right amount of traditional to make it feel like an authentic and cosy ski lodging, while still offering guests all modern conveniences.
The Zirbenstube café bar on site, is perfect for a cup of decent coffee and some lovely, traditional, homemade cake as a little pick-me-up during the day. It has a nice little sun terrace too.
After a couple of days, or let’s face it, even just the one day of skiing, sometimes you need a little relaxation. The hotel offers a small spa area where you can make use of the sauna and steam room, to get the body back on track. Guests of the hotel can also use the facilities at the local swimming pool, the Panorama Badewelt, at no extra cost. And if the little ones are looking for some entertainment, there is a playroom for them to make use of too.
