It has had its own hydropower station since 2014, which produces renewable energy, which can be offset against the hotel's CO2 footprint. When it comes to dining, the hotel is very focused on using regional products from farmers in their immediate surroundings and seasonal foods and drinks from the region alongside organically grown products.
