Val Cenis is one of those less famous, but nevertheless, enchanting French alpine villages full of beauty and character. Set in the Maurienne Valley at the heart of the Vanoise National Park the skiing is suited for all ski abilities. Comprising of two traditional unspoilt villages, Lansleboug and Lanslevillard, they are now combined as 1 village which has a warm and friendly atmosphere with very low key evening entertainment. The highest lift will bring you up to 2800m above sea level, while the resort itself is located at 1450m. Wide open slopes and tree lined skiing make up the majority of the intermediate areas, and boarders can make use of the 2 snowboard parks. The lift pass also links the resort area with Termignon-la-Vanoise where additional skiing opportunities are available.
