Montchavin (1250m) and the neighbouring resort of Les Coches (1450m) are nestled below the La Plagne bowl offering skiing to the Paradiski area by chairlifts. The gondola that joins La Plagne and Les Arcs is set above Montchavin, so those wishing to ski the 2 areas will have quick and easy access.
Originally a small farming village Monchavin has maintained its small friendly feel, with a traffic free centre that has its fair share of shops and evening activities. A unique evening activity is the resorts Olympic bobsleigh run, a shuttle bus is provided once a week from Montchavin.
Also in a unique position in the Savoie, Les Coches (1450m) offers you the warm and friendly atmosphere of a resort where stone and wood are the principal building materials. Get set for plenty of skiing action out on the slopes, whether in the La Plagne ski area or in the larger Paradiski area.
