Les Arcs comprises three modern resorts: Arc 1600, Arc 1800 and Arc 2000 each with its own distinctive flavour. Arc 1600, perfect for families, overlooks the town of Bourg Saint Maurice below. Arc 1800 is the centre of the action: this is where the lifts converge and has very lively après ski. Arc 2000 is the newest addition and is surrounded by pine trees at the base of the Aiguille Rouge peak. All three have great snow records and skiing and boarding for every level. Its south facing disposition means sun and the views of the sun setting behind Mont Blanc are astounding. And, when the sun is gone there's is always plenty going on.
