The nature reserve Fusch an der Gloßglocknerstrasse lies 805m above sea level and has 800 inhabitants. Every year, more than a million visitors make the 'Glocknerstrasse' an excursion destination of extraordinary status. Fusch is rich in plants and animals, particularly in the 'Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe' area, where marmots can be seen. Varied points of interest, information plaques and educational walks accompany the visitor to the mountain peaks. Really cosy, beautiful breakfast pensions, rustic guesthouses, or holidaying on a farm, invite the holidaymaker to linger in this traditional holiday and health resort.
