Star performer Chemmy Alcott

Directski.com renewed it's sponsorship of the British Ski Team for the 07/08 season and as such was the Official tour operator of the 2008 British Championships that took place in Méribel in April.

This year's Championships offered a whole host of exciting events; the emergence of Ed Drake as a force to be reckoned with was a major talking point, as was the sixth overall championship title for Chemmy Alcott. The standard of competition proved outstanding with Louise Thomas in particular catching the eye of many with a fantastic result in the Women's Super Combined.

In securing the top award for a sixth time, Chemmy cemented her place as the top British Female competitor and has her sights set firmly on climbing up the world rankings during the 2008/09 season!
