Originally built as a Spa town, Bormio has grown to earn a deserved place amongst the most popular ski resorts in Italy. Skiing in Bormio is best suited to intermediates although beginners will find the ski schools excellent. While the après ski isn’t as lively as in other resorts, there’s no shortage of atmospheric bars, cafes and restaurants dotted around its beautiful medieval streets!
